heading print series

Dr. Choong took print making as a form of alternative graphic expression . He believes that its rich and complex process and techniques like those employed in etching, lithography and silkscreen can help to generate new ideas for painting as well. He combined free strokes, undefined areas and geometric shapes to convey the notion of confronting elements or forces of the world we live in. The techniques exploited in his prints are closely echoing his approaches in oil paintings in the New York Series.
